I'm attempting to install Build 5308 on my laptop that has 2 60GB drives configured as RAID 0 (Fasttrack 378).
I get the drivers loaded, the partitions appear ok but when I select either partition Vista says Windows cannot be installed Error Code 0x80030002.
Partition 0 is the primary partition and the partition I want to install Vista, XP is already installed on Partition 1.
Any ideas,
Cary.

Its possible that you need to load a driver for storage device. Did you reach a point during setup where you could select the disk? If so, did you see the option to load driver? -- Andre Windows Connect | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta "Cary Moore" wrote in message

UPDATE: Problem "solved" by running setup from XP rather than booting from the installation DVD

Andre, yes, initially there were no disks visible, pressed the load driver button, selected the driver off the floppy, disks then appeared okay - but couldn't select either of them to get to the next stage.
As per my update message, I then ran the setup from XP (rather than booting from the installation DVD) and the installation has now completed without any problems.
When I have more time I may try the process again.
